3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD
4 A CONTRACT TO TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE
6 THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-SIX AND 80/100 DOLLARS
7 ($1,381,366.80), FOR THE WRIGHT AVENUE BRIDGE REPAIR
8 IMPROVEMENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS,Bids were solicited o cited for the WrightAvenue Bridge Repairs, Project -
g g p o�ect No. B O1B, Bid No.
11 16006;and,
12 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township
17 Builders, Inc. for Wright Avenue Bridge Repairs in an amount not to exceed One Million, Three Hundred
18 Eighty-One Thousand, Three Hundred Sixty-Six and 80/100 dollars ($1,381,366.80), which is the base
19 bid amount of One Million, One Hundred Fifty-One Thousand, One Hundred Thirty-Nine Dollars
20 ($1,151,139.00),plus 20%contingencies.
21 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is from the 2013 Capital Improvements Bonds for Streets and
22 Drainage as authorized by Resolution No. 13,699 and amended by Resolution No. 14,269.
23 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
24 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
30 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
