3 A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A REAL ESTATE SERVICES
4 AGREEMENT WITH CENTURY 21 UNITED TO MARKET AND SELL
5 PROPERTIES FOR THE CITY'S FEDERALLY-FUNDED HOUSING
6 PROGRAMS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City administers Neighborhood Stabilization Funds (NSP2), Community
9 Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) from the U.S.
10 Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for the purchase of properties developed and
11 acquired by the Community Development Division and Land Bank in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
12 and,
13 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock published a Request for Proposals to solicit qualified bids from
14 real estate professionals who were interested in providing Real Estate Consultant Services to market and
15 sell properties for the City's Federally-Funding Housing Programs; and,
16 WHEREAS, Century 21 United submitted the most responsible and responsive bid to provide the
17 marketing and selling services for the City's Federally-Funded Housing Programs.;
18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS;
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Century 21 United to market
21 and sell properties for the City's Federally-Funded Housing Programs.
22 Section 2. Severability. In the event any section, subsection, subdivision, paragraph, subparagraph,
23 item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
24 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining provisions of this
25 resolution, as if such invalid or unconstitutional provision were not originally a part of this resolution.
26 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this
27 resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
