3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 2, 2015, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE UNDEVELOPED
5 PORTION OF THE FORTY-FOUR (44)-FOOT WIDE ROSE STREET
6 RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED BETWEEN NORTH LOOKOUT ROAD
7 AND KENYON STREET. (G-23-438-A), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE,
8 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
11 abandon the undeveloped portion of the forty-four (44)-foot wide Rose Street right-of-way located
12 between North Lookout Road and Kenyon Street (between 4301 and 4225 North Lookout Road)
13 (approximately 179.5 linear-feet), pursuant to its General Police Power Authority under Ark. Code Ann.
14 §14-54-104;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held
18 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
19 o'clock on February 2, 2016.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
21 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
22 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
