3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., FOR THE
5 PURCHASE OF THIRTY-TWO (32) MOBILE RADIO SYSTEMS FOR
6 THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN THE TOTAL
7 PURCHASE PRICE OF ONE HUNDRED FORTY-TWO THOUSAND,
8 FOUR HUNDRED THREE AND 96/100 DOLLARS ($142,403.96),
9 UTILIZING THE ARKANSAS STATE CONTRACT PURCHASING
10 AGREEMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

12 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department is in need of thirty-two (32) Mobile Radio Systems
13 to support the equipping for service of newly-purchased Patrol Vehicles; and,
14 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Contract, the Little Rock Police Department can
15 purchase thirty-two (32) Mobile Radio Systems from Motorola Solutions, Inc., to equip the newly-
16 purchased Patrol Vehicles for the total cost of One Hundred Forty-Two thousand, Four Hundred Three
17 and 96/100 Dollars($142,403.96);
18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to utilize the Arkansas State
21 Contract to enter into a contract with Motorola Solutions, Inc., for the purchase of thirty-two (32) Mobile
22 Radio Systems to equip the newly-purchased Patrol Vehicles at a total cost of One Hundred Forty-Two
23 Thousand, Four Hundred Three and 96/100 Dollars($142,403.96).
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Police Fleet 2015 Account.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
31 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
