3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
4 ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
5 PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF MASTER STREET PLAN
6 CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ISLAMIC CENTER
7 LONG-FORM PD-R (Z-2502-B) ON POTTER STREET; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
11 ARKANSAS:
12 SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a waiver of
13 certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for the Islamic Center Long-Form PD-R (Z-2502-B),
14 located on the east side of Potter Street, south of 40th Street.
15 Subsection a. That Chapter 30, Article VI requiring developers to construct roadway
16 improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan be waived for a proposed Islamic
17 Center Long-Form PD-R (Z-2502-B). The specific waiver is for widening and improving Potter
18 Street.
19 Subsection b. A right-of-way dedication of thirty (30) feet from centerline of Potter Street will
20 be required as called for in the Master Street Plan.
21 Subsection c. Any future zoning or subdivision approvals, or re-development of the site will be
22 subject to full Master Street Plan requirements.
23 SECTION 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 ordinance.
28 SECTION 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
30 SECTION 4. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
