3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO THE CITADEL FOR
4 APPRAISAL SERVICES FOR MARYLAND AVENUE (CEDAR ST. TO
5 BROWN ST.); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, improvements to Maryland Avenue (Cedar St. to Brown St.) were
8 previously selected for funding through the Community Development Block Grant
9 Program, and
10 WHEREAS, the improvements require easements and /or additional right -of-
11 way, and
12 WHEREAS, The Citadel submitted a proposal and was selected to appraise the
13 value of the easements and /or right -of -way;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and
17 execute an agreement with The Citadel for appraisal services on Maryland Avenue
18 (Cedar St. to Brown St.).
19 Section 2. Funding for the project is available from NHSP- 108 -B004. Amount
20 for Appraisal Services: $68,750.00 ($62,500.00 plus 10% contingencies).
21 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
22 of its adoption.
