HomeMy WebLinkAbout119241 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 RESOLUTION NO. 11,924 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE 2005 FIVE -YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN; TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR CONSIDERATION BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING & URBAN DEVELOPMENT;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, as a recipient of grant funds through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the City of Little Rock is required to have an adopted Five -Year Consolidated Plan to assess community development and housing needs and available resources and to develop effective strategies to address those needs, and WHEREAS, with input from experts in the fields of housing and community development a plan has been developed for submission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit the 2005 Five -Year Consolidated Plan for the Fiscal Years 2005 -2009 to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
