ORDINANCE NO. 13,550Y
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas by the owners of the herinafter described lands
praying that siad lands be annexed to and made, a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas: and
WHEREAS, on October 24, 1978, the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas found that the petition was signed by a majority of the total number
of real property owners in said area proposed to be annexed and by the
owners of more than one-half of the acreage of said area; that said lands
are contiguous and adjoining the' present corporate limits of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate map of siad lands had been filed with
and made a part of said petition; that proper notice had been given for the time
and in the manner prescribed by law; and that all things pertaining thereto
had been done in the manner prescribed by law and that said lands should
be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject
to acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said city at the proper
time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order
of annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has expired and no
appeal has been taken from said order.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to and
adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and same are hereby
accepted as part of and annexed to and made a part of the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; to-wit: '
• Lots 4 & 5 Hinson Place, Pulaski County, Arkansas ; and
certain stripsof land lying adjacent thereto, said strips
of land having formerly been platted as public rights-of-way,
all lying in the West 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northeast
1/4 of the Northwest. 1/4 of Section 33, Township 2 North,
Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and being more
particularly described as follows: Starting at the Southeast
corner of said W1/2 W1/2 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 33, thence
N 0°23' E 208.5' to the point of beginning; thence continue
N 0° 23' E 163.3' ; thence N' 89°37' ,W 223.5' ; thence S..0°23'
W 163.3' ; thence S 89°37' E 223.5' to the point of beginning
containing .837- of an acre more or less.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
