AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
FUNDS FOR THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE & NATURAL HISTORY.
WHEREAS, bond fund money was allocated for the Museum of
Science & Natural History in the City's 1977 Capital Improvement
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION I. That $225, 000. 00 is appropriated from the Capital
Improvement Funds for:
(a) Refurbishing of the sales corner, central
staircase & entrance hall;
(b) Complete redesign of the restrooms;
(c) Installation of a wheelchair lift.
SECTION 2 . That the Museum submit documentation regarding
_ scope and costs of the work and verification of the availability
of matching funds as funds are drawn upon for specific projects.
SECTION 3 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
