AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING THE PROPERTY AT THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MARA LYNN ROAD AND SHACKLEFORD
ROAD IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AMENDING
SECTION 43-2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF.
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. That the zoned classification of the
following properties be and is hereby changed as indicated:
Z-3255 A tract of land described as part of Tract A,
Beverly Hills Addition, Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and part of the northeast 1/4 , Section 4,
Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, all more particularly described as : Beginning
at the northeast corner of Lot 12, said Beverly Hills
Addition, said corner being located on the west line of
said Tract A; thence north 66° 34 ' 30" west along the
north line of said Lot 12, 109 .2 feet to the northwest
corner thereof, said corner being located on the east
right-of-way line of Monterey Drive; thence
northeasterly along said east right-of-way line , being
the arc of a 311 . 5 foot radius curve to the left,
having a chord bearing and distance of north 22° 26 '
06" east 40.0 feet to a point; thence south 66° 45 ' 37"
east 102.45 feet to a point; thence south 88° 12 ' 30"
east 92.0 feet to a point 10 feet west of the east line
of said Tract A, said point also being 10 feet west of
the west right-of-way line of Shackleford Road; thence
south 1° 47 ' 30" west along a line 10 feet west of and
parallel with the east line of said Tract A 111.6 feet
to a point; thence north 87° 30 ' 30" west 117.05 feet
to the southeast corner of said Lot 12, said corner
being located on the west line of said Tract A; thence
north 15° 31' 30" east along theeast line of said Lot
12, 72.0 feet to the point of beginning containing
0 .3619 acres + - from "A" One Family District to "E-1"
Quiet Business District.

A tract of land described as part of Tract A, Beverly
Hills Addition, Little,. Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and part of the northeast 1/4 , Section 4 , Township 1
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas , all
more particularly described as: . Starting at the
northeast corner of Lot 12 of said Beverly Hills.
Addition., said corner being located on the west line of

corner thereof, said corner being located on the east
right-of-way line of Monterey Drive; thence
northeasterly along said east right-of-way line , being

northeasterly and continuing along said east

thence north 2° 40 ' 30" east then continuing along said
east right-of-way line 17 .5 feet to a point on the
south right-of-way line of Mara Lynn Road; thence south
87° 19 ' 30" east along said south right-of-way line
90 .0 feet to the northwest corner of said Tract A;.

line of said Tract A and the south right-of-way line of
Mara Lynn Road 58 .49 feet to a point; thence
southeasterly and southwesterly along the arc of a 25
foot radius curve to the right having a chord bearing
and distance of south 42° 46 ' east 35 .08 feet to a
point 10 feet west of the east line of said Tract A,
said point also being 10 feet west of the west right-of
way line of Shackleford Road; thence south 1° 47 ' 30"
west along a. line 10 feet west of and parallel with
said east line of Tract A, 115.32 feet to a point;
thence north 88° 12' 30" west 92.0 feet; . thence north
66° 45 ' 37" west 102.45 feet to the point of beginning
containing 0 .5400 acres + - from "A" One Family
District to "D" Apartment District.
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43-2
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated District Map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate
the change provided for. in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
