AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION THIRTY-TWO
(32) , TOWNSHIP ONE (1) NORTH, RANGE TWELVE (12)
WEST TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, IN PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the County, Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
entered its Order on October 2, 1978, upon the Petition of all
of the real estate owners in the area affected and owners of all
the acreage affected (said area and acreage described fully below)
after due notice of hearing on said Petition for the time and in,
the manner prescribed byelaw, ordering .the annexation to the City
of Little Rock,of the following described lands located in Pulaski
County, Arkansas:
The NW 1/4 SW _1/4 Section .32, :T-1-N R-12-W
Pulaski County, Arkansas.
AND
All of the N 1/2 NE 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 32,
lying West of the West right-of--way line of
Scott Hamilton Drive, T-1-N R-12-W Pulaski
County, Arkansas.
AND -
Part of--the =S 1/2 NW 1/4 Section 32, T-1-N
R-12-W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more parti-
cularly described as: Beginning at the South-
east corner of the SW 1/4 NW 1/4 said Section
32; thence S 89°51' W along the South line of
said SW 1/4 NW 1/4, 845. 3 ft. to a point; thence
N 0°39 ' E , 1, 034 . 9 ft. to. a point on the South
right-of-way line of Interstate Route No. 30;
thence Easterly along said South right-of-way
line the following bearings and distances; N
87°37 ' E. 187. 0 ft. ; S 2°23 ' E, 25. 0 ft. ;
N 85°16 ' E, 485.1 ft. ; N 8. 2°06 ' E, 175.2 ft. ;
N 80908-' E, 266. 8 ft. and S 77°.11' E, 73. 85, ft.
to a point on the present city limits line; `
thence S 0°22`' W along said city limits line,
188 .21 ft. to a point; thence 5 89°38 ' E and
continuing along said city limits line, 211. 03
ft. 'to a point on West right-of-line of Scott
Hamilton Drive; thence Southerly along said West
right-of-way line to a point on the South line
of the SE 1/4 NW 1/4 said Section 32; thence
N 89°06 ' W along .said South line, 816. 05 ft.
to the point of beginning.
Total proposed annexed property containes 91. 8
acres, more or less; which includes all adjoining
and abutting streets and rights of way.

WHEREAS, more than thirty (30) days have elapsed since the
entry of said Order of the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and no person, firm or corporation has instituted any proceeding
in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, or elsewhere,
to prevent such annexation, and no protestants have appeared and
no notice given to the authorities of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, of any attempt to vacate, review, set aside or appeal
from the said Order of the County Court; and,
WHEREAS , said above described lands are contiguous to and
adjoin the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION. 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, acting
through this Board of Directors, does hereby approve the annexation
of, and does hereby accept and make a part of the incorporated
area of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, all of the lands de-
scribed hereinabove in this Ordinance.
SECTION 2 . It is further ordered that said lands be, and
they are hereby, assigned and attached to and made a part of the
4th Ward of said City of Little Rock.
