3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION GROUP,
5 INC., IN AN AMOUNT UP TO SEVEN HUNDRED ELEVEN THOUSAND,
6 THREE HUNDRED THIRTY AND 66/100 DOLLARS ($711,330.66), FOR
7 CONSTRUCTION OF THE LAMARCHE DRIVE EXTENSION
8 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the LaMarche Drive Extension Project in Ward 5, Bid 15-001;
11 and,
12 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone
17 Construction Group, Inc., for the LaMarche Dr. Extension Project for Seven Hundred Eleven Thousand,
18 Three Hundred Thirty and 66/100 Dollars ($711,330.66), which is the base bid amount of Five Hundred
19 Ninety-Two Thousand, Seven Hundred Seventy-Five and 55/100 Dollars ($592,775.55), plus 20%
20 contingencies.
21 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is from the 3/8-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and
22 Compensating Use Tax Funds.
23 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
24 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
30 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
