3 A RESOLUTION TO SET APRIL 21, 2015, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE SOUTH 150 FEET OF THE
5 ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 30, ORIGINAL
6 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, BOUNDED BY EAST 4TH
7 STREET, EAST CAPITOL AVENUE, SCOTT STREET AND
8 CUMBERLAND STREET (G-23-455), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE,
9 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
12 abandon the south 150 feet of the alley right-of-way within Block 30, Original City of Little Rock,
13 Arkansas, bounded by East 4th Street, East Capitol Avenue, Scott Street and Cumberland Street, pursuant
14 to its general Police Power Authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held
18 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
19 o'clock on April 21,2015.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
21 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
22 County,Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
