AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF MASTER STREET PLAN
CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS FOR MARYLAND AVENUE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
waiver of certain requirements within the Master Street Plan for Maryland Avenue just
east of Thayer Street for the Reed Family Partnership.
Subsection a. That Chapter 30 Article VI requiring developers to construct
roadway improvements to the requirements of the Master Street Plan be waived
for a proposed warehouse on the northeast corner of Thayer Street and Maryland
Avenue. The specific waiver is for widening and improving Maryland Avenue.
Subsection b. The existing 60' right -of -way is adequate to meet the requirements
for a commercial street under the Master Street Plan.
Subsection c. Any future zoning actions, construction, or re- development of the
site will be subject to Master Street Plan requirements.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
