3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 3, 2015, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO APPEAL THE DENIAL OF A
5 TOWER USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE EXISTING WIRELESS
6 COMMUNICATION FACILITY TOWER LOCATED AT 20001 KANIS
7 ROAD TO BE INCREASED IN HEIGHT FROM 150 TO 170 FEET (Z-
8 8570-B); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the appeal of the Planning
11 Commission's action in denying a Tower Use Permit to allow the existing Wireless Communication
12 Facility tower located at 20001 Kanis Road to be increased in height from 150 feet to 170 feet, pursuant
13 to its general Police Power Authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104, in the City of Little Rock.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
15 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the resolution to appeal the denial of a Tower Use Permit to allow the
17 existing Wireless Communication Facility tower located at 20001 Kanis Road to be increased in height
18 from 150 feet to 170 feet, shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in
19 the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 3`d day of February, 2015.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
21 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
22 Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
