3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT
4 TITLE TO A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED SOUTH OF CANTRELL
5 ROAD AND EAST OF PINNACLE VALLEY ROAD IN THE CITY OF
6 LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, NEEDED TO
7 CONSTRUCT THE PINNACLE VALLEY ROAD IMPROVEMENT
8 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors authorized the Pinnacle Valley Road Improvement
11 Project in Resolution No. 13,699; and,
12 WHEREAS, The acquisition of property will be necessary for the construction of the street project
13 and to assure adequate right-of-way for construction and to maintain the improvements.

19 Section 18, Township 2 North, Range 13 West now in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
20 County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the point of
21 intersection of the west line of the west half of the east half of the southwest quarter of
22 the southeast quarter with the southerly right-of-way line of Pinnacle Valley Road, thence
23 south along said west line 172.0 feet; thence south 84 degrees 54 minutes east 130.55 feet
24 to the west right-of-way line of Pinnacle Valley Road; thence northwesterly along said
25 right-of-way north 35 degrees 18 minutes 25 seconds 225 feet to the point of beginning;
26 containing 0.26 acres, more or less.
27 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the 2013 Capital Improvement Bonds for Streets
28 and Drainage. Estimated cost for acquisition is Seventy Thousand Dollars ($70,000.00).
29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and

1 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
2 resolution.
3 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
4 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
5 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
