3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON THAT PORTION OF THE WEST 8TH
4 STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED BETWEEN THE INTERSTATE
5 630 WEST ON-RAMP AND CROSS STREET, THE SOUTH 140 FEET OF
6 THE RINGO STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED BETWEEN
7 BLOCKS 263 AND 289, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
8 ARKANSAS, THE SOUTH THIRTY-EIGHT (38) FEET OF THE CROSS
9 STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED BETWEEN BLOCKS 289 AND
10 306, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND THE WEST
11 HALF OF THE TWENTY (20)-FOOT WIDE ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY,
12 LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 289, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
13 ARKANSAS (G-23-450); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
14 WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon the following right-of-way located within the Original
15 City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
16 That portion of the West 89' Street right-of-way, located between the Interstate 630
17 West on-ramp and Cross Street, the south 140 feet of the Ringo Street right-of-way,
18 located between Blocks 263 and 289, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the south
19 thirty-eight (38) feet of the Cross Street right-of-way, located between Blocks 289 and
20 306, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the west half of the twenty (20)-foot
21 wide alley right-of-way, located within Block 289, Original City of Little Rock,
22 Arkansas.
23 WHEREAS,the Board has determined that the abandonment of the aforementioned right-of-way will
24 not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners or the public welfare and safety;
25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
26 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
27 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the following right-of-way
28 within the Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
29 That portion of the West 8' Street right-of-way, located between the Interstate 630
30 West on-ramp and Cross Street, the south 140 feet of the Ringo Street right-of-way,
31 located between Blocks 263 and 289, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the south
32 thirty-eight (38) feet of the Cross Street right-of-way located, between Blocks 289 and

1 306, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the west half of the twenty (20)-foot
2 wide alley right-of-way, located within Block 289, Original City of Little Rock,
3 Arkansas.
4 Section 3. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the real estate
5 records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in Ex-Officio Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
6 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
7 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
8 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
9 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part
10 of the ordinance.
11 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are
12 inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
