3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH GLOVER'S TRUCK PARTS, INC., FOR
5 THE PURCHASE OF ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER
6 (OEM) STERLING REPAIR PARTS FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
7 FLEET UNITS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock advertised for bids to establish an APO for the purchase of
10 original equipment manufacturer(OEM) Sterling repair parts for City of Little Rock fleet units; and,
11 WHEREAS, Fleet Services Staff developed specifications for the formal bidding process and
12 Glover's Truck Parts, Inc.,was the only vendor submitting a bid meeting specifications;
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract for the
16 purchase of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Sterling repair parts for City of Little Rock fleet
17 units, in an estimated amount of One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars($175,000.00).
18 Section 2. The contract is authorized for a period of one (1)-year, with an option to renew yearly for
19 an additional two(2)years, upon agreement of the parties.
20 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Parts account#600013-60310.
21 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
