3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 13,957 (SEPTEMBER 2,
4 2014) TO CORRECT THE TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT FOR A WEB-
5 BASED TRAINING COMPONENT TO PROVIDE IN-SERVICE
6 TRAINING FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR A
7 TOTAL COST OF ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-NINE THOUSAND, ONE
8 HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE AND 85/100 DOLLARS($179,181.85)PAYABLE
9 OVER A SIXTY (60)-MONTH PERIOD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 13,957 on September 2,2014,
12 to authorize a contract with Target Solutions for a Web-Based Training Component to provide in-service
13 t•aining across multiple disciplines within the Little Rock Fire Department; and,
14 WHEREAS, due to a calculation error in the vendor's proposed payment schedule, the total contract
15 rice was identified in Resolution No. 13,957 as One Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand, Four Hundred
16 Twenty-Nine and 96/100 Dollars ($153,429.96), but should have been One Hundred Seventy-Nine
17 Thousand, One Hundred Eighty-One and 85/100 Dollars($179,181.85).
18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 13,957 is hereby amended to read as follows:
21 The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Target Solutions to
22 provide a Web-Based Training Component for the Little Rock Fire Department in an
23 amount not to exceed One Hundred Seventy-Nine Thousand, One Hundred Eighty-One
24 and 85/100 Dollars($179,181.85),to be paid out over a sixty(60)-month timeframe.
25 Section 2. Funding for this contract is available from the existing General Fund Budget and Act 833
26 Funds.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 r solution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. Resolution No. 13,957 and all laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,

1 that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
2 inconsistency.
