ORDINANCE NO. 4 20,829 (DECEMBER 17, 2013), TO ADJUST THE FISCAL YEAR 2014 5 BUDGET ORDINANCE TO REFLECT REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE 6 ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE GENERAL FUND AND FLEET FUND; TO 7 DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS,the City approved a comprehensive Budget for the City of Little Rock,Arkansas, in Little 10 Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 20,829(December 17, 2013), and 11 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to adjust the ordinances to reflect operational changes in the General 12 Fund,and where necessary to authorize the increase or decrease in the Fiscal Year 2014 line items for these 13 and other matters, and 14 WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Finance & Treasurer, in compliance with City 15 Budget and Financial Reporting Policies, have reviewed these adjustments and recommend them to the 16 Board of Directors for approval, 17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. General Fund. Section 5 of Little Rock,Ark.,Ordinance No.20,829(December 17,2013) 20 is hereby amended so the General Fund Operating Resources amount will increase by Five Million, Six 21 Hundred and Two Thousand Dollars ($5,602,000) to One Hundred Eighty-Nine Million, Eight Hundred 22 Sixty-Six Thousand, Five Hundred Thirty Dollars($189,866,530),to reflect increases in operating budgets 23 for General Fund Departments of Five Million, Six Hundred and Two Thousand Dollars ($5,602,000)to 24 One Hundred Eighty-Nine Million, Eight Hundred Sixty-Six Thousand, Five Hundred Thirty Dollars 25 ($189,866,530). 26 Section 2. Fleet Fund. Section 5 of Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 20,829 (December 17,2013) is 27 hereby amended so the Fleet Fund Operating Uses amount will increase by One Hundred Twenty-Four 28 Thousand Dollars ($124,000) to Thirteen Million, Two Hundred and Fifty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred 29 and Eighty-Eight Dollars($13,259,688). 30 Section 3. Records. The Director of Finance & Treasurer is directed to maintain appropriate records 31 which provide greater detail for the adjustments set forth in this ordinance as reflected in the materials 32 provided to the Board of Directors for the August 19, 2014, Meeting. [Page 1 of 21 1 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 2 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 3 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and 4 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 5 ordinance. 6 Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this 7 ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. 8 Section 6. Emergency.
