3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH PROSHOT CONCRETE, INC., IN
5 THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($105,000.00), FOR REPAIRS TO A PIPE CULVERT CROSSING ON
7 RIVER MOUNTAIN ROAD EAST OF WALTON HEIGHTS ROAD; AND
8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for a project to repair a culvert on River Mountain Road east of
11 Walton Heights Road,Bid No. 14-137; and,
12 WHEREAS, Proshot Concrete, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
13 specifications;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement Proshot Concrete, Inc.,
17 for the repair of a culvert crossing on River Mountain Road east of Walton Heights. Amount for
18 construction services is One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($105,000.00), Eighty-Seven Thousand,
19 Five Hundred Dollars($87,500.00),plus 20%contingencies.
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is available from the 2012 3/s-Cent Capital Sales Tax Project
21 Funds as authorized by Resolution No. 13,699.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer.All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
29 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
