3 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 19,540, TITLED
4 HAMPTON SHORT-FORM POD,AND REVOKING A PLANNED ZONING
5 DISTRICT, LOCATED AT 1109 AND 111 WELCH STREET; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 19,540 was passed on June 6, 2006, establishing a Planned Zoning
9 District titled Hampton Short-Form POD(Z-8007-A), located at 1109 and 1111 Welch Street; and
10 WHEREAS, the hospitality house approved for Hampton Short-Form POD (Z-8007-A), located
11 at 1109 and 1 1 11 Welch Street, is no longer a viable project since the property has changed ownership
12 and the current owner of the subject property has requested the repeal of the "PZD" ordinance and
13 restoration of the zoning classification as previously existed.
14 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission reviewed the request for revocation for
15 Hampton Short-form POD(Z-8007-A)at their June 26,2014, public hearing and voted 10 ayes, 0 nays
16 and I absent to forward the revocation request to the Little Rock Board of Directors for final action.
17 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
18 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
19 SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19,540 is hereby repealed, removing from the Official Zoning
20 Map the classification POD.
21 SECTION 2. That the underlying R-4, Two-Family, zoning classification is restored to the
22 property described as: Lots 9 and 10 Block 9 Masonic Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
23 County, Arkansas.
24 SECTION 3. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
25 Little Rock, Arkansas, and designated district map be and is hereby amended to the extent and in the
26 respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Sections 1 and 2 hereof.
27 SECTION 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
28 phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
29 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain
30 in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
31 originally a part of the ordinance.

1 SECTION 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are
2 inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
3 inconsistency.
