HomeMy WebLinkAbout13941 1 RESOLUTION NO. 13,941 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH INNERPLAN, A STATE CONTRACT 5 VENDOR, FOR THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNITURE FOR THE 6 SECOND FLOOR OF THE 12T" STREET STATION, IN THE TOTAL 7 AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, THREE 8 HUNDRED SEVENTY-SEVEN AND 80/100 DOLLARS ($367,377.80); AND 9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, the architectural firm of Roark, Perkins, Perry and Yelvington, has contacted Innerplan, 12 a State Contract office furniture vendor, to supply a design diagram and cost projections for specific 13 pieces of furniture for the second floor of the new 12"x' Street Station; and, 14 WHEREAS, this design and cost projection was made in conjunction with the architects and 15 members of the Little Rock Police Department; and, 16 WHEREAS, Innerplan has submitted a proposal to provide a design diagram and cost projections for 17 specific pieces of furniture for the second floor of the new 12" Street Station, in the amount of Three 18 Hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand, Three Hundred Seventy-Seven and 80/100 Dollars ($367,377.80), which 19 includes shipping, installation and taxes; 20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 22 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 23 Innerplan to supply a design diagram and cost projections for specific items of furniture for the second 24 floor of the new 12'x' Street Station, in the total amount of Three Hundred Sixty-Seven Thousand, Three 25 Hundred Seventy-Seven and 80/100 Dollars ($367,377.80), which includes shipping, installation and 26 taxes. 27 Section 2. Funding for this project will come from the 12" Street Station construction contingency 28 fund. 29 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 30 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 31 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 32 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 33 resolution.
