3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO CONTRACTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIX (6) SINGLE-
5 FAMILY DWELLINGS AS PART OF THE HOME INVESTMENT
6 PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock receives an annual allocation of HOME Investment Partnerships
9 Program (HOME) Funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to
10 develop and/or rehabilitate housing units; and,
11 WHEREAS, the funds are to be utilized for the construction of affordable housing for low to
12 moderate-income persons; and,
13 WHEREAS, the following six (6) residential properties have been chosen for construction as part of
14 the HOME Program, in the total bid amounts of Seven Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand, Nine Hundred
15 Sixty Dollars($787,960.00):

18 3419 West 10th Street- $137,890—new construction
19 3105 West 13' Street—$142,890—new construction
20 2601 West 13th Street-$124,490—new construction
21 2609 West 13th Street- $132,890—new construction
22 A& A Service Electric:
23 901 South Booker Street-$132,800—new construction
24 JHL Builders:
25 1017 Thayer Street- $117,000—new construction

27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
28 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
29 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby approves the use of HOME Funds for the construction of
30 six(6)residential structures as set forth herein.
31 Section 2. Funds for the construction of these structures will be charged to the HOME Program.
