4 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TOP EXECUTE
5 AN AGREEMENT WITH TOWNSHIP BUILDERS, INC., IN THE
6 AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE
7 HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE AND 20/100 DOLLARS ($447,583.20) FOR
8 THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HINSON ROAD AT ELDORADO BOX
9 CULVERT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the construction of the Hinson Road at Eldorado Box Culvert
12 Replacement Project, Project No. 13B-4C-5B, Bid No. 14136.
13 AND, Township Builders, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting specifications.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Township
17 Builders, Inc., for the construction of the Hinson Road at Eldorado Box Culvert replacement project.
18 SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available from the 2013 Capital Improvement Bonds for
19 Streets and Drainage as authorized by Resolution No. 13,699. Amount for construction services is Four
20 Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Eighty-Three and 20/100 Dollars ($447,583.20), Three
21 Hundred Seventy-Two Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars ($372,986.00), plus 20%
22 contingencies.
23 SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase,
24 or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 SECTION 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
30 SECTION 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
