3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON THE PLAT OF FAIRLANE ACRES
4 SUBDIVISION AND ALL RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND EASEMENTS
5 LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARY OF THE PLATTED
6 SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY,
7 ARKANSAS (G-23-444); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a request was made to vacate the plat of Fairlane Acres Subdivision and the rights-of-
10 way and easements located within the boundary be abandoned, pursuant to the City's general Police
11 power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14-54-104; and;
12 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandonment of the aforementioned easement will
13 not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners or the public welfare and safety;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates and abandons the plat of Fairlane Acres
17 Subdivision and the rights-of-way and easements located within the boundary of said subdivision, located
18 within the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
19 Section 2. All reviewing agencies and utilities have approved the abandonment of the plat, including
20 all lots, streets and easements within the area of the plat of Fairlane Acres Subdivision.
21 Section 3. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the real estate
22 records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex-officio recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
23 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part
27 of the ordinance.
28 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are
29 inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
