That Chapter 13 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a variance from 15 the construction standards for structures within the 100-year floodplain for the Moon Distribution 16 warehouse facility located at 2800 Vance Street southeast of the corner of Interstate 30 and Roosevelt 17 Road. 18 Subsection a. Chapter 13, Section 59(2) requires the top of the finished floor of non- 19 residential structures be elevated to one (1)-foot or more above the base flood elevation 20 of Fourche Creek, 256.75 feet mean sea level (MSL). The top of the finished floor of the 21 warehouse addition is proposed to be constructed less than one (1)-foot above the base 22 flood elevation of Fourche Creek or to an elevation of 257.10 feet MSL. 23 Section 2.
