3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION NO.
4 13,440(FEBRUARY 7,2012)TO MAKE A CENT-COMMITTEE APPOINT-
5 MENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the City created the Citizens Evaluation of New Tax Committee (CENT-Committee)
8 in Little Rock, Resolution No. 13,440(February 7, 2012), and needs to make two (2)modifications to the
9 membership of that Committee;
10 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
11 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. Pete Kenny O'Connor is now a Co-Chair as a replacement for Gary Smith; the Board
13 thanks Gary Smith for his service as Co-Chair of the CENT-Committee since its inception.
14 Section 2. Ken Gill is appointed as a Ward 5 representative.
15 Section 3. Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
16 phrase,or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional,such declaration
17 or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
18 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
19 resolution.
20 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
21 the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
