3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO REDSTONE
4 CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $54,429.10, FOR
5 DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR., DRIVE DRAINAGE
6 IMPROVEMENTS FROM 28T" STREET TO 30T" STREET; AND FOR
7 OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive Drainage Improvements, Bid
10 No. 14-118; and,
11 WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
12 specifications;
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone
16 Construction Group, Inc., for Drainage Improvements along Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive from 281h
17 Street to 30th Street in the amount of Fifty-Four Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty-Nine and 10/100
18 Dollars ($54,429.10); Forty-Nine Thousand, Four Hundred Eighty-One Dollars ($49,481.00) plus 10%
19 contingencies.
20 Section 2. Funding for this project is available from the 2012 3A-Cent Capital Sales Tax Project
21 Funds.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
28 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
29 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
