RESOLUTION NO. 11,899
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH GEO- ENERGY SOLUTIONS
5 TO SUPPLY PLUMBING MATERIALS TO INSTALL GROUND
6 SOURCE HEAT PUMP WELLS FOR THE FIRE TRAINING
7 BUILDING; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Invitation to Bid #4317 was issued for plumbing materials to be
10 used to install the ground source heat pump wells for the Fire Training Building, and
11 Geo- Energy Solutions, Inc. submitted the most responsive and responsible bid in the
12 amount of One Hundred Thirty -nine Thousand, One Hundred Eighty -nine and 75/100
13 Dollars ($139,189.75);
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
17 into a contract with Geo- Energy Solutions in the amount of One Hundred Thirty -nine
18 Thousand, One Hundred Eighty -nine and 75/100 Dollars ($139,189.75);
19 Section 2. Funds for this project are to be allocated from the $70,635,000 Limited
20 Obligation Capital Improvement Bond Issue (Series 2004).
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
22 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
23 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
24 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
25 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 resolution.

Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
of such inconsistency.
