3 A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF ST.
4 VINCENT CIRCLE, LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH UNIVERSITY
5 AVENUE AND MCKINLEY STREET, TO MIDTOWN AVENUE (G-25-
6 213), AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Little Rock Medical Associates, owners of all of the properties located on the south side
9 of this portion of St. Vincent Circle, have filed a petition to change the name of this portion of St. Vincent
10 Circle to Midtown Avenue;and,
11 WHEREAS,all of the properties located on the north side of this portion of St. Vincent Circle have a
12 South University Avenue address and will not be affected by the street name change; and,
13 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its January 30, 2014, meeting, voted to
14 approve the proposed street name change with a vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays and 2 absent;
15 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS.
17 Section 1. The name of that portion of St. Vincent Circle, located between South University Avenue
18 and McKinley Street, is hereby changed to Midtown Avenue.
19 Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and the City
20 Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said change.
