12 driveway spacing on arterial streets for the proposed warehouse facility request located on tlj :

13 corner of East 6th Street and Bond Avenue; and, ”%, COUNTY, P„,.N`�
14 WHEREAS the Little Rock Board of Directors has reviewed the request and endorses the requested
15 variance;
16 THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
17 LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a variance from
19 the driveway spacing criteria on arterial streets for the proposed Central Arkansas Library System
20 (CALS)warehouse facility at the southeast corner of East 6th Street and Bond Avenue.
21 Subsection a. Chapter 31, Section 210(e) (1) requires driveways to be spaced at least 300 feet
22 from the right-of-way of an intersecting collector street or street with a higher classification. The
23 driveway is proposed to be located on Bond Avenue, approximately 110 feet south of the East 6th
24 Street right-of-way line.
25 Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty(30)days from and after its passage.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 ordinance.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this ordinance,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
