4 A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT TITLE TO PROPERTY LOCATED IN
5 BLOCK 186 OF THE ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
6 DONATED TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK BY THE TRUST FOR
7 PUBLIC LAND BY QUITCLAIM DEED, TO BE USED FOR PUBLIC
8 PURPOSES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Trust for Public Land, a California non-profit corporation has offered to donate a
11 remnant of land within Block 186 of the Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
12 WHEREAS, this land is currently being used by the City for parking and other public uses and it is
13 desirable to accept this donation.
14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to accept the donation and title to the
17 property described as follows:
18 All of the property north of land owned by the City of Little Rock in Block 186 of the Original
19 City of Little Rock, Arkansas, west of the east right-of-way line of Broadway Street and east of the
20 east right-of-way line of Arch Street, subject to existing easements for fiber optic transmission lines.
21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect a if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 ordinance.
26 Section 3.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
27 the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
