3 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 17, 2013, AS THE DATE FOR A
4 PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE THE PROJECT PLAN FOR LITTLE
5 ROCK REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 (BASS PRO); AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS,the Board of Directors passed Little Rock,Ark.,Ordinance No. 18,849 in April 1,2003,
9 which established the Little Rock Redevelopment District No. 1, a project to bring a Bass Pro development
10 to an area in the City that was not fully developed; and,
11 WHEREAS,a project plan and analysis has now been prepared for the redevelopment district,and it
12 is required by statute to hold a public hearing to discuss the project plan; and,
13 WHEREAS, prior to the publication of notice of a public hearing on December 17, 2013, individual
14 notices were sent to all of the impacted taxing jurisdictions within the City;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. A public hearing on the proposed project plan for the Bass Pro development which is being
18 accomplished by Little Rock Redevelopment District No. l will be held at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter
19 as it can be discussed,during a regular meeting of the Little Rock Board of Directors on Tuesday,December
20 17,2013, in the second floor Board meeting room at 500 West Markham Street, Little Rock, Arkansas.
21 Section 2. This project plan shall be subject to public input and discussion as required by Ark. Code
22 Ann. § 14-168-306 (West Supp. 2013) prior to the passage of an ordinance to approve a project plan.
23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
25 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect
26 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
27 lution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsist- cy.
