3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR, CITY MANAGER
4 AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS NEEDED TO
5 LEASE CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE THREE FINANCIAL
6 CENTRE BUILDING IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR POLICE
7 PURPOSES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) is in need of additional property for the
10 storage of evidence; and,
11 WHEREAS, LRPD has identified property located in the Three Financial Centre Building in Little
12 Rock,Arkansas, as being well-suited to the purpose of evidence storage for the Department; and,
13 WHEREAS, the City Board of Directors has determined that it is in the best interests of the City for
14 the City to lease certain property at the Three Financial Centre for the needed evidence storage at the total
15 rental payment for a four (4)-year period of Fifty-Two Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty-Six Dollars
16 ($52,536.00).
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Mayor, City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, as
20 appropriate and in a form approved by the City Attorney, any documents needed for the City to lease
21 from Three Financial Centre, LLC, property of 985 square-feet located in the Three Financial Centre
22 Building in Little Rock for the total sum of Fifty-Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Thirty-Six Dollars
23 ($52,536.00)for a four(4)-year period.
24 Section 2. Severabiliry. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
30 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
