RESOLUTION NO. 6 ,344
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE "SUBURBAN DEVELOP-
MENT PLAN "PREPARED BY TEAM FOUR, INC. ,
DIRECTING THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION
TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE "SUBURBAN
DEVELOPMENT PLAN", DIRECTING THE STAFF OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION TO FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE
OUTLINED IN "THE SUBURBAN DEVELOPMENT
PLAN AND POLICIES ADOPTION SEQUENCE"; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , a Suburban Development Plan has been prepared
by Team Four, Inc . ; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Suburban Development Plan consists
of a Land Use Plan and a Statement of Official Development
Policies ; and
WHEREAS , Team Four , Inc. has recommended that adoption
of both the Land Use Plan and the Statement of Official Develop-
ment Policies by the Planning Commission and the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock will provide the City
with a basic framework to plan for the orderly growth of the
Suburban Development Areas ; and
WHEREAS , Team Four , Inc . has presented the proposed
Suburban Development Plan to the Board of Directors .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors hereby accepts the
"Suburban Development Plan" which consists of a Land Use Plan
and a Statement of Official Development Policies , copies
of which are attached hereto as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2 . The Little Rock Planning Commission is
hereby directed to conduct a public hearing on the "Suburban
Development Plan" .
SECTION 3 . The Staff and the Little Rock Planning Commis-
sion are hereby directed to follow the procedure outlined in
3 w 1
the "Suburban Development Plan and Policies Adoption Sequence",
a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit B.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval .
