6332 RESOLUTION NO. 6 , 332
A RESOLUTION IN MEMORIAM
OF NOEL DON MCGUIRE
WHEREAS, with the untimely death of Little Rock Police
Officer, Noel Don McGuire, on May 14, 1980, this community
lost one of its most conscientiously dedicated citizens and
public servants, and
WHEREAS, Officer McGuire steadfastly served his
community from 1975 to the time of his passing as a Police
Cadet and as a Patrolman, and
WHEREAS, during Officer McGuire 's tenure with the
Little Rock Police Department, he developed a reputation for
excellence, carrying out assigned tasks and duties to their
fullest extent and in a manner which brought credit to his
community, the Little Rock Police Department and himself ,
and
WHEREAS, Officer McGuire had received several letters
of appreciation from citizens for his professionalism,
understanding and courtesy, and was selected as the Sertoma
Club Officer of the Month in January 1979, and
WHEREAS, Officer McGuire lost his life serving the
community he loved , and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors are saddened with
the passing of Officer Noel Don McGuire, and by this
resolution commemorate for posterity his life of dedicated
service to his fellowman and community.
SECTION II. The Board of Directors expresses deepest
sympathy for Officer McGuire 's family.
SECTION III. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
