20813 1 ORDINANCE NO. 20,813 2 3 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK. ORDINANCE NO. 4 20,671 (DECEMBER 18, 2012), TO ADJUST THE FISCAL YEAR 2013 5 BUDGET ORDINANCE TO REFLECT REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE 6 ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE GENERAL FUND AND FLEET FUND; TO 7 DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS,the City approved a comprehensive budget for the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,in Little 10 Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 20,671 (December 18,2012),and 11 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to adjust the ordinances to reflect operational changes in the General 12 Fund,and where necessary to authorize the increase or decrease in the fiscal year 2013 line items for these 13 and other matters, and 14 WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Finance Department & Treasurer, in compliance with City 15 budget and financial reporting policies,have reviewed these adjustments and recommend them to the Board 16 of Directors for approval, 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. General Fund. Section 5 of Little Rock,Ark.,Ordinance No.20,671 (December 18,2012) 20 is hereby amended so the General Fund Operating Resources amount will increase by Nine Million, Six 21 Hundred and Seventy-Eight Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars($9,678,389)to One Hundred 22 Eighty Million, Eight Hundred Eighty-Nine Thousand, Five Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars ($180,889,549), 23 to reflect increases in operating budgets for General Fund Departments of by Nine Million, Six Hundred 24 and Seventy-Eight Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($9,678,389) to One Hundred Eighty 25 Million, Eight Hundred Eighty-Nine Thousand, Five Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars($180,889,549). 26 Section 2. Fleet Fund. Section 5 of Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 20,671 (December 18,2012)is 27 hereby amended so the Fleet Fund Operating Uses amount will increase by Two Hundred Fifty Thousand 28 Dollars ($250,000) to Twelve Million, Eight Hundred and Sixty-Six Thousand, and Sixty-Nine Dollars 29 ($12,866,069). 30 Section 3. Records. The Director of Finance & Treasurer is directed to maintain appropriate records 31 which provide greater detail for the adjustments set forth in this ordinance as reflected in the materials 32 provided to the Board of Directors for the November 4, 2013, meeting. 33 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 34 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 'Page 1 of 21 1 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and 2 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 3 ordinance. 4 Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this 5 ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. 6 Section 6. Emergency.
