3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ONE (1) OPERATOR PERMIT AND 120
4 TAXICAB PERMITS FOR GREATER LITTLE ROCK
5 TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, LLC, FOR THE PERIOD FROM
6 JANUARY 1, 2014, TO DECEMBER 31, 2014; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Greater Little Rock Transportation Service, LLC ("GLRTS") has properly applied for
10 approval of one(1)Operator Permit and 120 Taxicab Permits for the year 2014, and has established that it
11 is properly insured and in compliance with the City Transportation Code; and,
12 WHEREAS, these additional eight(8) Taxicab Permits assures GLRTS will have sufficient taxis as
13 needed on the streets, but can also have a certain number of permitted taxicabs in reserve;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. GLRTS is granted one (1) Taxicab Operator Permit and 120 Taxicab Permits for the
17 period from January 1, 2014,to December 31, 2014.
18 Section 2. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
19 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of this
20 resolution, which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
21 unconstitutional were not originally a part of this resolution.
22 Section 3. Repealer. All ordinance and resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with
23 any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
