3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDERS TOYOYA, FOR THE PURCHASE
5 OF FOUR (4) HYBRID TOYOTA CAMRY VEHICLES AT A PRICE OF
6 TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED ELEVEN DOLLARS
7 ($24,411.00) EACH, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF NINETY-SEVEN
8 THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($97,644.00),
9 FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE
10 ARKANSAS STATE PURCHASING CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER
11 PURPOSES.

13 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department is in need of four (4) vehicles which will be an
14 addition to the Little Rock Police vehicle fleet; and,
15 WHEREAS, by utilizing the Arkansas State Purchasing Contract, the City Fleet Services is
16 authorized to purchase four (4) hybrid Toyota Camry vehicles from Landers Toyota for Twenty-Four
17 Thousand, Four Hundred Eleven Dollars ($24,411.00) each, for a total of Ninety-Seven Thousand, Six
18 Hundred Forty-Four Dollars($97,644.00);
19 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
22 Landers Toyota for the purchase of four (4) hybrid Toyota Camry vehicles for the Little Rock Police
23 Department, utilizing the Arkansas State Contract, for a total of Ninety-Seven Thousand, Six Hundred
24 Forty-Four Dollars($97,644.00).
25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 2013 collection of the 3/8-Cent Sales Tax.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
32 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
