3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE A MODIFICATION TO THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT
5 AMOUNT WITH SMALL ARROW ENGINEERING, LLC, FOR
6 ENGINEERING SERVICES AND DESIGN MODIFICATIONS FOR THE
7 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CNG FUELING STATION; AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, in October 2012, the City entered into a contract with Small Arrow Engineering, LLC,
11 in the amount of Forty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Eighty Dollars ($49,680.00), for engineering
12 services and design modifications for the City of Little Rock CNG Fueling Station; and,
13 WHEREAS, subsequent to the execution of the above-mentioned contract, it was determined that
14 additional charges in the amount of Nineteen Thousand, Nine Hundred Fifty-Five Thousand Dollars
15 ($19,955.00) would be incurred to cover necessary services related to the equipment package rebid and
16 subsequent plan modifications, for a total contract amount of Sixty-Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Thirty-
17 Five Dollars($69,235.00);
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a modification to the original contract amount
21 with Small Arrow Engineering, LLC, in an additional amount of Nineteen Thousand, Nine Hundred
22 Fifty-five Thousand Dollars ($19,955.00), for a total contract amount of Sixty-Nine Thousand, Six
23 Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($69,635.00), for engineering services and design modifications for the City
24 of Little Rock CNG Fueling Station.
25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services 2013 Grant Match Fund
26 account, 108490-71105-S40A146.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
33 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
