RESOLUTION NO. 12,144
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO ACCEPT AN OFFER TO DEDICATE LAND TO THE CITY; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Little Rock Parks and Recreation has been offered 18 acres of land to
add to the existing park system, and
WHEREAS, this land is currently designated open space and is located in the
Highway 10 Corridor adjacent to and near other park land and has been appraised at
$513,000.00, and
12 WHEREAS, the acquisition of this 18 acres will aid in achieving the master parks
13 plan of linking neighborhoods and having park land available to all section of the City.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to accept the dedication of land
17 eighteen (18) acres of land, being described on Attachment "A" hereto.
