3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ARKOMA PLAYGROUNDS FOR
5 CONSTRUCTION OF THE SWAGGERTY CREEK PARK PAVILION;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Invitation to Bid #5331 was issued for construction of the Swaggerty
9 Creek Park Pavilion, and Arkoma Playgrounds submitted the most responsible and
10 responsive bid in the amount of Eighty -two Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty -nine and
11 60/100 Dollars ($82,739.60;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
15 into a contract with Swaggerty Creek Park Pavilion, in an amount not to exceed Eighty-
16 two Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty -nine and 60/100 Dollars ($82,739.60).
17 Section 2. Funding for this project is available through a UPARR Grant.
18 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
19 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
20 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
21 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
22 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
25 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
26 of such inconsistency.
