2 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO BUILDING &
3 UTILITY CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR STONEWALL (SPRUCE TO
4 COUNTRY CLUB) DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND
5 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
6 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the street reconstruction of Stonewall (Spruce
7 to Country Club) Drainage, under Bid No.05 -321; and
8 WHEREAS, Building & Utility Contractors, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible
9 and responsive bid, in the amount of $559,351.10 ($508,501.00 plus 10% contingencies);
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
13 Building & Utility Contractors, Inc. for drainage improvements Stonewall (Spruce to
14 Country Club) Drainage, in an amount of $559,351.10 ($508,501.00 plus 10%
15 contingencies).
16 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds are available for Stonewall (Spruce to Country Club)
17 Drainage in Acct. Nos. 315 - 220 -DP07 and 318 - 220 -SR17.
18 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
19 of its adoption.
