RESOLUTION NO. 12,127
3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE USE OF UP TO $250,000 IN 2004
4 BOND PROGRAM TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT CAPITAL FUNDS
5 TO MATCH $250,000 PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR
6 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT CHENAL PARKWAY AT
7 WELLINGTON HILLS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, voters in 2003 voted to continue a long- assessed property tax for the
10 purpose of funding a Capital Improvement Program, and
11 WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Program has available funds from
12 remaining balances in various 2004 Bond Traffic Signal Projects in an amount not to
13 exceed $250,000.00, to be combined with $250,000.00 in private matching contributions,
14 and
15 WHEREAS, the Project Progress Committee has endorsed up to $250,000 of the
16 remaining Traffic Signal Project balances to be used for reconstruction of the Chenal
17 Parkway at Wellington Hills Rd. intersection;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
19 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Memorandum of
21 Agreement with City of Little Rock Public Works Department Traffic Engineering staff
22 to prepare plans and expend up to $250,000 in 2004 Bond Capital Improvement funds in
23 combination with $250,000 in private contributions for construction of intersection
24 improvements at Chenal Parkway at Wellington Hills Rd.

Section 2. Funding for the project is available from remaining balances in
various 2004 Bond Traffic Signal Projects, in an amount not to exceed $250,000.00, to be
combined with $250,000.00 in private matching contributions.
Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its adoption.
