3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO CONSTRUCTION
4 MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE, INC., FOR INSTALLATION
s OF LOOPS WITHIN WARDS 1, 2, 3, 4, & 6; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.
8 WHEREAS, existing loops in Wards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 have been damaged due to
9 the Grinding Program and must be replaced, and
to WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the Installation of Loops in Various Wards,
1 1 Bid No. 05 -290, and
12 WHEREAS, Construction Management and Maintenance, Inc. submitted the
13 lowest responsible and responsive bid, in the amount of One Hundred Twenty -two
14 Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty -two and 75/100 Dollars ($122,982.75);
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
18 Construction Management and Maintenance, Inc. for Installation of Loops.
19 Section 2. Funds for this project are available from the 2004 Bond in account 314-
29 220 -RE01, RE02, RE03, RE04, and RE06. Amount for construction services: $135,281.03
21 ($122,982.75 plus 10% contingencies).
22 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
23 of its adoption.
