2 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO BUILDING & UTILITY
3 CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR GARDNER RD. DRAINAGE
4 CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
5 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the street reconstruction of Gardner Rd.
6 Drainage, under Bid No.05 -317; and
7 WHEREAS, Building & Utility Contractors, Inc. submitted the lowest
8 responsible and responsive bid in the amount of Three Hundred Fifty -four Thousand,
9 Four Hundred Sixty -six Dollars ($354,466.00), plus 10% contingencies, for a total of
10 $389,912.60;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
14 Building & Utility Contractors, Inc. for Gardner Rd. Drainage Construction Project.
15 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds are available for Gardner Rd. Drainage Construction
16 Project in Account No. 314 - 220 -DP03 for construction services in the amount of
17 $389,912.60 ($354,466.00 plus 10% contingencies).
18 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
19 of its adoption.
