RESOLUTION NO. 11,886
3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO
4 EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH L.E.G. CONSTRUCTION FOR
5 INSTALLATION OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT WOODROW STREET
6 AND ASHER AVENUE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the intersection of Asher Avenue and Woodrow Street was selected
9 as one of the locations for signal construction from the 2004 Bond Issue, and
10 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid under Bid No. 04 -321 was issued and two bids
11 were received, with L.E.G. Construction submitting the lowest qualified bid in the
12 amount of Eighty -nine Thousand, Two Hundred Thirty -nine and no /100 Dollars
13 ($89,239.00), being $81,126.49 plus 10% contingencies.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter
17 into a contract with L.E.G. Construction for installation of a traffic signal at Woodrow
18 Street and Asher Avenue in the amount of Eighty -nine Thousand, Two Hundred
19 Thirty -Nine and no /100 Dollars ($89,239.00);
20 Section 2. Funds for this project are to be allocated from the $70,635,000 Limited
21 Obligation Capital Improvement Bond Issue (Series 2004), account No. 314 - 220 -TSO4.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
23 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
24 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
25 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
26 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.

1 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
2 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent
3 of such inconsistency.
