3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK.,
4 RESOLUTION NO. 11,826 TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT
5 TERM FROM SEPTEMBER 30, 2005, TO THE END OF THE
6 CALENDAR YEAR 2005; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock awarded a contract for $44,102.30 to Family
9 Service Agency on September 21, 2004, that contained a term of one year, from October
10 1, 2004, to September 30, 2005; and
11 WHEREAS, after negotiations between the two parties, the parties desire to end
12 the contract at the end of the calendar year, December 31, 2005, rather than September
13 30, 2005; and
14 WHEREAS, this extension shall be at no additional cost; and
15 WHEREAS, a material change to the contract term requires that the previous
16 resolution be amended.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. Section 3 of the Little Rock, Ark. Res. No. 11,826 is hereby amended
20 to change the end of the contract term from September 30, 2005, to December 31, 2005.
21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or
22 adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
23 affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
25 originally a part of this resolution.

I Section 5. Repealer. All resolutions, and parts thereof, which are in conflict with
2 any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
