6698 RESOLUTION NO. 6 , 698
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO CLOSE THE BROOKSIDE DRIVE EXTENSION
PROJECT FILE AND TO DISCONTINUE THE STATUS
OF THE BROOKSIDE DRIVE PROJECT AS AN
ACTIVE PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the initial project cost estimates for
the Brookside Drive Extension Project greatly exceed the
available allocated funds ; and
WHEREAS , it has become apparent from the estimated
cost figures that the Brookside Drive Extension Project can-
not be undertaken as either a solely public or solely private
project .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to close the Brookside Drive Extension Project and to dis-
continue the status of the project as an active project .
Section 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval .
